While PV still requires temporary political support before it reaches full competitiveness, the Photovoltaic Observatory represents an essential tool to advise national decision makers for the successful implementation of their support policies. The report that initially focuses on key EU PV markets, will be progressively supplemented with more country analysis, as well as specific market elements. This will help support the sustainable development of the market and the industry in Europe and world-wide.
EPIA has developed a comprehensive and up-to-date analysis of support schemes in the EU 27 countries and Switzerland. The information has been fully updated for 2012.
A part of the information is updated thanks to the report entitled “PV Subsidy Overview Europe” published by dena. The publication is updated three times year and contains detailed information on the PV subsidy structure in the 27 EU Member States.
The data and analysis presented here are based on the available information at the time of publication.
