"Bankruptcies, job losses, 2020 renewables target put at risk: How retrospective measures heavily endanger the European photovoltaic sector"
Over the past years, the European solar PV sector has been continuously facing retrospective measures directly attacking the stability and viability of existing PV installations. Such measures, as well as unexpected and sudden support scheme changes, seriously damage the investment climate for PV in a number of European countries.
With regard to this, EPIA - the European Photovoltaic Industry Association - is organising a Press Breakfast on Tuesday 10 December 2013, from 9:00 till 10:30, in the Renewable Energy House - 63, rue d'Arlon - 1000 Brussels, to provide all interested journalists with an overview of the situation in the different European countries affected by retrospective changes in their national PV regulatory framework.
The Press Breakfast will also be accessible online as a Webinar to allow reporters based outside Brussels to join in. Journalists will be given the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation (you may as well send your questions in advance, together with your attendance confirmation).
You can register by replying to this email. Please also specify if you will be physically present or following the event via the web. Technical instructions to join the Webinar will be sent to all registered participants one day prior to the event.
We would like to remind you that this event is specifically organised for journalists.
Events that are open to the public are marked in green. Events reserved for EPIA Members are marked in yellow. Events in which EPIA participates – and where you are able to “Meet EPIA” – are marked in blue.
