Platts 3rd Annual European Renewable Energy Markets*

26-27 January 2012 - Berlin, Germany

The conference tackled the key issues facing the industry and brought together the European renewables community from utilities and manufactures to regulators and financiers in their effort to revolutionise the future European generation mix. The conference provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the industry and its current strength while highlighting policy directions, project case studies and finance flows. In addition, the event tackled the sector's key challenges from cost efficiency, infrastructure and planning, capacity back up and public support.

12th Forum Solarpraxis*

17-18 November 2011 - Berlin, Germany

The conference offered relevant and applicable talks on the current non-technical issues facing the sector, covering all forms of solar energy capture. It focused on the political environment, market developments, public relations, financing and marketing.

4th International Congress Bauhaus.SOLAR*

Technology-Design-Environment
8-9 November 2011 - Erfurt, Germany

The international Bauhaus.SOLAR congress successfully pursues the goal of combining Bauhaus with innovative solar technology and methodically establishing technological progress as the basis for the sustainable, innovative and aesthetic design of our living space in architecture and urban planning. The series of congresses stimulated interdisciplinary discourse. Keynote speaker was Kai-Uwe Bergmann (BIG Kopenhagen). There were also speeches of Joseph Wheeler (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University), Peter-M. Friemert (ZEBAU, Hamburg), Heide Schuster and Thomas Thümmler (WSGreen Technologies) and David Cook (Behnisch Architekten).

2nd Dii Desert Energy Conference*

2-3 November 2011 - Cairo, Egypt

At Dii’s Second Annual Conference in Cairo politicians, business representatives and researchers talked about Dii’s progress during the second year and the respective regulatory, social, environmental and economic challenges facing large-scale production of electricity from sun and wind in the deserts.

Solar Power UK Conference and Exhibition 2011

26-28 October 2011- Birmingham ICC, UK

The event brought together all segments of the Solar Industry in the UK to ensure sustainable growth. The Solar PV dedicated event comprised a full three day exhibition, at least four specialised conferences, additional training sessions and educational seminars. 

With extensive networking opportunities including an official gala dinner, Solar Power UK was a perfect platform for communication and opportunity to drive new business.

Conferencia de la Industria Solar - España 2011*

13–14 October 2011 - Madrid, Spain

The CIS-ES 2011 brought the players of the solar industry into contact with representatives from politics, the financial world, the press and the industry’s suppliers.

This leading industry conference offered talks on non-technical issues facing the sector, addressing the current state of the market.

Solar Turkey

Part of Turkish International Renewable Energy Congress (TIREC)
20-21 September 2011 - Istanbul, Turkey

Solar Turkey - produced with the government support of the Turkish Prime Ministry Investment Agency, EUAS, TEIAS, EIE & TETAS - has become the official meeting place for domestic and international companies looking to evaluate and break into the sector.

With the passing of the amendments to the Renewable Energy Law in December 2010, the government’s push for local manufacturing and burgeoning solar markets not only in Turkey but also the neighbouring Balkans and Middle East.

Intersolar Europe 2011

8-10 June 2011, Munich, Germany

Our team of experts was pleased to welcome you at the EPIA booth, where you could find EPIA publications, including the new “Global Market Outlook for Photovoltaics until 2015”, and discuss market figures, technical issues, hot policy topics, EPIA activities, and everything regarding EPIA Membership.

Third International Conference Thin-Film Photovoltaics*

7 June 2011 - München-Dornach, Germany

The conference focused on the practical experience of the new modules in the field. It brought together experts and newcomers with backgrounds in academics, technology development, solar module production, application in systems or the financial sector.

The event enabled participants learn about new products and future trends of Thin Film silicon and compound semiconductor technologies (a-Si, a-Si/μc-Si, thin c-Si, CdTe and CIGS).

EREC 2011 – Europe’s Renewable Energy Policy Conference

MENASOL 2011*

This event was the opportunity to meet the decision makers blueprinting solar projects in MENA and to find out what is the present state for solar in this region. PV Rollout

European American Solar Deployment Conference
10-11 February 2011, Boston, USA

The goal of the conference was to rapid and widespread PV deployment by examining existing technical, economic, and political hurdles. This was done by engaging leading experts in the science, technology, and business aspects of the solar industry as speakers of the conference. Open discussions and an exhibition of newest products focused on the following topics: Modules, Inverters/Power Conditioning, Frames, Trackers, Wiring/Cabling/Connectors, Grid Integration, and Financing and Risk Management.
