4th General Assembly of the European Photovoltaic Technology Platform

The EU Photovoltaic (PV) Technology Platform held its 4th General Assembly on 19 June 2009, in Vienna, Austria.

After 4 years of operation, the EU PV Technology Platform presented its achievements over this period. The event gave a complete overview of the current situation of the PV sector, including EU and national policies, market development, an update on research and technology and also a review of PV in developing countries.

Representatives of the EU Institutions as well as of the Austrian Federal Ministries delivered speeches on this occasion. 200 European and Austrian stakeholders participated to this meeting, amongst other leading personalities from the research institutions and CEOs from Europe’s leading PV companies, as well as Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Austrian Federal Ministries.
