The 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (21st to 25th September 2009) and Exhibition (21st to 24th September 2009) was held at the CCH - Congress Center and International Fair in Hamburg, Germany. The “who's who” of the PV Solar branch met to discuss the latest developments in science and industry.
THE MOST IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN THE FIELD OF PHOTOVOLTAICS
The 24th edition of the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference provided an excellent platform for dialogue and information exchange across worldwide solar experts. More than 1.500 abstracts with request for presentation were received.
As an official event of this edition, EPIA held jointly with WIP the 6th European PV Industry Forum on Wednesday 23rd September.
THE BIGGEST YEARLY PV SOLAR EVENT IN THE EPIA CALENDAR
The 2009 international EU PVSEC industrial exhibition in Hamburg was the biggest ever held in the series of EU PVSECs, spreading over 65.000m², an increase in size of 30% compared to the Valencia exhibition in 2008. More than 800 exhibitors presented new ideas and technical solutions in the field of Photovoltaics.
EPIA Industry Area was the central meeting place for the PV Industry and Science during the 24th EU PVSEC. EPIA organised a large range of activities enabling participants to increase their knowledge and strengthen their network within the PV community.
