Objective: improve EPIA’s visibility and give PV a credible voice.
Communication strategy:
In 2006, EPIA defined a communication strategy in line with its global strategy. A “Communication working group” gathering several representatives of companies, members of EPIA, was created in order to analyse EPIA’s communication and propose a new action plan. An external expert in European Affairs, Daniel Guéguen is also regularly providing advices to improve EPIA’s visibility especially towards Brussels-based decision makers.
New EPIA’s corporate identity:
One of the main results of the strategy implementation in 2006 has been the definition of a new corporate identity for EPIA enhancing the central role of the 4-pillar strategy.
Improving media relations and communication skills:
Media are essential to relay messages to a wider audience. Since 2006, an important work has started to get EPIA messages more frequently and more largely conveyed. Partnerships with media are also in place in order to have a better coverage of EPIA events and a widespread of their results.
Additionally, the whole EPIA staff is receiving since November 2006 trainings to improve their communication skills both oral and written.
