Objective : achieve mass production in order to generate cost reduction (the objective is that the system prices reach 3 to 4/Wp by 2010)

To reach this objective the following activities are undertaken:

• Follow-up of market evolution (on-grid applications, BIPV, connection to the grid) ;
• Policies enabling the implementation of an industrial policy ;
• Realisation of statistics and prospective scenarios ;
• Monitoring and anticipation of price trends ;
• Involvement in and contribution to the following European PV Technology Platform working groups:

  • WG2 - Market deployment,
  • WG4 - Developing countries
